Johnston, SC- Angel Monique Miles was born December 18, 1982 the eldest daughter of Carl Miles and Gennie Glover Miles. She departed this earthly life bound for her Heavenly home on January 28, 2023 surrounded by her family at her parents home.
She was educated in the schools of Edgefield County and was a 2001 graduate of Strom Thurmond High. Following High school, she continued her education and received her Associates of Arts degree at Piedmont Technical College
At an early age Simmon Ridge was her church home. She continued her spiritual journey where she joined the Joshua Gener8tion House of Faith, Inc. There she served on the Usher Ministry and the Praise Ministry. Angel was blessed with an anointed voice. She was blessed to use her angelic voice to sing songs at many weddings and other events. She will forever be remembered for her amazing smile and infectious laughter. Those gifts as well as her spirit of encouragement blessed all around her. All of these gifts she used to serve her Lord and Savior.
She was employed by the Voters Registration Office in Edgefield County and also worked for the Town of Johnston for a number of years. Her last position was as a Registration Clerk at the Aiken Regional Medical Center in Aiken, SC until her health began to fail.
Angel leaves to love honor and cherish her precious memories: her parents, Carl & Gennie Glover Miles, of the home, three sisters, Carlenna and Shaquana Miles both of Aiken, SC; Candace Sandersof Piedmont SC; a nephew, Jeremiah Lee, Aiken, SC; a niece, Malayiah Babb, Piedmont, SC; a great aunt, Fannie Taylorof Edgefield, SC and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and amazing friends.
Funeral Services for Ms. Angel Monique Miles will be held 11:00am Thursday, February 2, 2023 at the Joshua Gener8tion House of Faith, Inc., 196 H.E. Holmes Road, Trenton, SC 29847 with the Apostle Augustus Washington, Pastor officiating. Interment will follow in the Simmon Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, 286 Center Spring Road, Edgefield, SC 29824. Viewing will be held 11am-6 pm Wednesday, at the Amos & Sons Funeral Home, Johnston, SC.
