Ernestine Williams
October 10, 1956 ~ December 16, 2019
Ernestine Williams was born October 10, 1956, the daughter of the late Willie Williams and late Mary Lee Patten Williams. She boarded God’s Glorious Train headed for God’s Heavenly Eternal Garden on December 16, 2019 at her residence.
She was a graduate of the Edgefield County School System. During her working years she worked as a housekeeper for The Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center of Edgefield. She was a servant of the Lord and a faithful member of Simmon Ridge Baptist Church. Her family remembers her happy spirit. She loved to make them laugh. She was a loving and compassionate woman who enjoyed cooking and working. She was easy-going, nice and she took over as mother of her entire family. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Joanne Williams Herrin. She leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Tekeya Williams and Shaciarra Williams, both of Johnston, SC; two brothers, Willie (Louise)Williams and Norris (Betty Ann Howard) Williams, both of Johnston, SC; treasured nieces and nephews, Syreeta Herrin, Darryl C. Herrin, Joshua Herrin, Natasha Dukes, Nakeisha Dukes, Jacobe Jefferson (Trenton, SC) and Tiffany Hall, all of Johnston, SC and a host of other relatives and friends.
