(Batesburg-Leesville, SC )- Mrs. Ojetta J. Crouder Williams was born 64 years ago in Washington, DC, the third child of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Oshea and Hattie A. Lindsay Crouder. On Tuesday December 17, 2019, Mrs. Ojetta peacefully transitioned into eternal rest at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, SC.
Mrs. Ojetta was educated in the Lexington District Three public school system; she was employed and retired from the school district after 27 years of service in the classroom, in parenting education and in transportation.
Mrs. Ojetta was baptized at an early age into the body of Christ at Friendship Baptist Church, where she served in multiple auxiliaries and non-profit organizations. In later years, she became a member of the Zion Hopewell Full Gospel Family Worship Center.
Mrs. Ojetta was dedicated to her marriage to John Frank Williams. She was the mother of three children, Reginald, J. Williams, Larjonar M. Williams and John R. Williams.
Those who will cherish her memory: one grandson, James O. Amaker, II, two granddaughters, Audrey Williams and Caitlin Faust; special grandchildren, Makenzie Peterson, Skylar Davis; three siblings, Evangelist Betty B. Hartley, Carolyn C. Williams(Lawrence), Alonzo O. Crouder(Victoria); special nephew and special niece: Joshua O. Crouder and Latasha C. Gantt; godchildren: Christine McDaniel, Jamison Lewis, Simon Moore, Ebony Toland; a brother-in-law, Robert Williams, sister-in-law, Mrs. Annie W. Curry(Thomas); and a host of nieces , nephews, cousins other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
